A Hilarious Space Romp!!!

The toe, the toe, the toe! It’s all about catching the toe! But, wait, is
it?
I'm not so sure, taking into account the posing stand off taking place
between the two Earth Admirals, Admiral Awesomest of the starship Resistance
is Futile and Admiral Fitfast of the starship Appearance is Everything, as
they chase after the toe in a race to be the first to intercept it.
Firstly, this is possibly one of the weirdest, funniest books I've ever
read, and even if you're not into science fiction, this is great!
There is a whole lot going on in the book, but still it is not difficult to
follow the plot as it plays out, and mainly you follow Captain BB and his
shark-shaped star-ship the SRE, his hilarious crew (definitely a gang with
loads of personality and the ability to not exactly make BB's life any
easier along the way). BB and the SRE get hired by the sexy journalist, Lara
Baywatch Craft (yes, you'll get an explanation for the lame names underway)
and her truck sized, always hungry, cameraman, Tiny as they need a means of
transportation when they're going out to search for the background story of
the toe that has been newly discovered flying through space heading for
Earth.
In between following BB,Lara and the rest of the gang in the chase for the
toe's background story- and later on, as they meet the grand-grand-grand son
of the owner of the toe, in the chase for the toe itself and whatever
information it contains, we get updates on how the hilarious posing stand
off between Admiral Awesomest and Admiral Fitfast is developing, as well as
regular Broadcast news updates that are flat out hysterical. In the
Broadcast News updates you really get some great stories about what is going
on in space and how humans are, in well known human style, exploiting it.
In their chase for the toe, BB, Lara and the gang travel to various places
and you can expect adventurous and laugh out loud moments every single place
all from on Found Atlantis,a water planet filled with talking fish, and
which is also a favored holiday destination for humans, the Medieval Castle
Space Station occupied by a nasty, obnoxious grump of a rich old man who
makes the visit quite long by dying continuously during, then we get to
visit Modest Bush - a planet covered in green vegetation and inhabited by
in-your-face gnomes with an attitude problem,we also get to experience the
major space station Galileo Galilee, the gate to all galaxies, where BB ends
up with a Toyota High Space after a hilarious sales episode and they
encounter some problems and face some time behind bars in relation to not
having their visitation forms in order, moving on through the Coffee Trail
galaxy we end up at Petri-Dish, where havoc happens as Mer-Hood, a black
market advertising bot the gang brought with them from Galileo Galilee,
after having been inspired by Nelson Mandela, decides to release all animals
and other creatures on the space station, which includes among other
Dinosaurs, Zombies, Cloned animals- need I say more. Welcome Chaos!
Summing up: This book is smart, funny, well-written and full of wonderful
commentary on the human condition sprinkled with clever humor and irony.

Very Funny, very different!

This is a ought to – or even, a must read! And this even coming from me, me not being really a sci-fi fan. But, yes... I still liked this book - and I liked it a massive lot, too.
The tone and mood in the book appealed to me from the beginning, instantly managing to put a smile on my face, and the weirdness with the toe fascinated me. When I got to the chapter introducing BB, the SRE, and the crew, I liked the book all the more, and during the Art & Craft chapter, where BB and the crew first meet Lara and Tiny at Galileo Galilee, my liking only increased further, followed by me feeling as if I might possibly have a crush on the book when they got the rebooted black-Ad-bot Mer-Hood and Professor Lifelive on the team.
Maximus Mucho has with Space Run written an incredibly fun, unique, funny, introspective, wishful, realistically unrealistic and decent story, and, to my best knowledge, he introduces a lot of ideas that even the sci-fi scene has never really thought of before, and he spins, as a whole, an enticing tale based on these ideas.
Space Run is the kind of book perfect for you to just kick back with. It’s engaging, well written, light hearted , and it will definitely give your funny bone a decent work out!
Just remember: In space nothing's really weird because everything's weird.
