A great edition to the Lunar Falls trilogy!

I was so happy to be back in Lunar Falls when I started Lies Of Lunar Falls. I loved the first book, Secrets Of Lunar Falls and could not wait to dive into this one and see where life was going to take Carly and Gabe.
We knew that Carly was starting to develop Moon Hunter capabilities but we didn't know how far these abilities will go in her. I don't think that even at the end of book 2 we know yet how far Carly will go with these abilities.
So many questions are answered, there's a twist that starts right at the top of the book and continues on to the end that is an amazing part of this story. I didn't see that one coming while reading book one and it took me by surprise in book 2.
I'm curious as to where that is going to take this family when we move on into the series (I cannot wait for book 3 of this trilogy), what will people who don't know yet say when they find out that what they had thought had happened, wasn't even close to what actually did occur. If that confuses you, you'll know exactly what I mean as you start reading book two.
There are still more questions to be answered and I am still wondering what will go down in book three. Things will have to come to a head with the purists and I hope that Gabe and Carly come out on top.
I adore this couple. While Gabe is an alpha male to the core, Carly isn't helpless. She is quite capable of defending herself and standing on her own two feet. I love the family members that are integral to the story line. Carly's grandfather is one of my new favorite characters. There is another new character whose development I can't wait to see, I want to know how the pack reacts to them (though I know where the purists are going to stand).
An excellent addition to this trilogy, Lies Of Lunar Falls is fast paced with tons of action, the heat that we love between our main characters, and an awesome cast of supporting characters. I cannot wait to read book 3. I think I saw that it is possibly coming in April.

the way she teases you into the twists that even the best sluth/reader is surprised

A full length novel I couldn't put down--an all day plus read. This is book two in the series and the twists just keep twisting. The author has many talents, her story line, the way she teases you into the twists that even the best sluth/reader is surprised. I figured out very few of the mysteries until they were revealed. She creates amazing characters you either love or hate, very few leave you passive. The relationship between Gabe are Carley is intense yet so sweet--it's the kind of love everyone wants.
There are family surprises. Will Gabe's family accept Carley? That issue and that of his friend, sister and cousin's relationships are the incentive to learn the real story about imprinting (the natural draw of two mates fated for each other) and the arranged marriage to perpetuate the pure blood lines.
Danger: disloyal pack members, family, enemies--can the new Grand Alpha, Gabe, deal with all the politics, a new mate, human murder cases as sheriff and so much more? Can Carley come to terms with the revelations of her own heritage and her burgeoning “powers”?
The action, love, steam and surprises never stop from page one to page 324. While this story is complete could be read a lone, I have many more questions to look forward getting the answers in book that I am going to start now.
While I was provided an ARC for an honest review, after buying and reading book one I would have purchased the next two without doubt. A very strong recommend.

How wonderful, Carly is developing telepathic abilities

How wonderful, Carly is developing telepathic abilities, but she is still baffled as to why they are starting to develop now..Then her grandfather Tucker shows up and Carly realizes that he is the Moon Hunter in her family and on top of that, he is an Elder! He has some very important things to tell her about her roll with the Moon Hunters. This information will have a very important impact in her life and Gabe's.
Meanwhile, The threat to the Grand Alpha that was is no more, as first Carly with yet another newly developed power, then Gabe deals with it. But is there yet another threat lurking in the shadows?
There is quite the family reunion for Gabe and his sister Jessica as they come face to face with a ghost! No not a ghost, but his father James who they thought dead and he returns mated!
Lots of action, intrigue, prophesy revealed and surprises not expected. Great story and what is yet to come...I can't wait for the next book of the Lunar Falls series.
