This is a bitter sweet review as this is the last book of three that are published on Amazon from Mr. Jetmir. Once again I am blown away with the incredible literary style of the Author's writing and in depth analysis of technical subjects portrayed in this essay. I look forward to reading more works from this author. Great job again Mr. Jetmir!

Mr. Jetmir has done a masterful job of presenting his case in an eloquent fashion. This is not an easy subject however it's delivered in a straight forward and sequential process. Definetly a worthwhile read.

Anxiously waiting for #2

This is the most intriguing little book you will ever read. The subject of the supernatural is one Bill Myers does with such...such...such...well not sure what the word that needs to be inserted here. He just has a way of writing it that would appeal to the Christian and non-Christian. He packs more story in this little book than you would ever imagine. It moves fast but carries you right along and doesn't leave you behind.

I've never met any of the men but I am a friend of Angie's and am in a small, home Bible Study with her. She had told us briefly the other night about the series and said this book was out on Kindle. I was really looking forward to reading it but not sure how it was going to turn out. I can assure you, in no way was I disappointed. Now I'm waiting for the next one, in about a month. As I understand it, they will be published about a month apart, so no long wait time.

While I generally avoid supernatural fiction as a personal preference, I was intrigued by this series because of the authors involved and the way they are rotating the writing. I read a pdf of this first book and was intrigued by the story. I believe it will appeal to teens and anyone who enjoys a fast-paced tale with supernatural elements. An eclectic group of characters provide plenty of color and personality, and quite a bit of action happens in a short amount of time. Available as both an e-book and in paperback, the short novella length makes this a quick read, encouraging reluctant readers to pick it up. I look forward to the next books in this series.

This book explores specific United States' laws, including the Export Administration Act's anti-boycott provisions, anti-trust laws, racketeering laws and anti-terrorism statutes, to show that there are a number of federal laws that apply to, and prohibit participation in, the BDS Movement's activities. This book concludes that American individuals and organizations that participate in or support the BDS Movement may be subject to both government prosecution and private party litigation, exposing participants to monetary and criminal penalties. To the extent individuals or business organizations have experienced financial harm from the BDS Movement's activities, such damages may be compensable under applicable United States' laws. Furthermore, this book argues that because the federal government's role in regulating foreign affairs and commerce is undermined by the BDS Movement's operations in the United States, and United States' policy towards foreign relations is at odds with the BDS Movement's objectives, the United States Department of Justice is warranted in commencing prosecution against the BDS Movement and its supporters under, inter alia, the Export Administration Act, anti-terrorism laws and RICO.

About the Author
Marc Greendorfer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Davis in 1986. He received his Juris Doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 1996 and is admitted to practice in California and New York and before the United States Supreme Court. He graduated magna cum laude and served as Articles Editor-Submissions of the Cardozo Law Review from 1995 to 1996. After working at AmLaw 100 law firms in New York and San Francisco for more than a decade, Mr. Greendorfer founded Tri Valley Law in 2008, where he is currently a partner. great read.

I absolutley love these books. I have read the first 2 and really want the 3rd. which brings me to this. this book has not been released. I have had an order with amazon since october 6th for this book with no delivery and sparse uninformitive updates. When i ask they tell me " sorry for the delay" that is all. I notice they make no note of this on this page so i wanted to let everyone know since they will not.

It's Great

I have read the last two volumes and slightly liked the first one over the second but was still willing to get the third one when it came out. I like this volume just about as much as I like the first because it focuses more on the kids than the adults (who are mostly dead in this volume).

On one of the first few pages it says that you'll most likely be offended and to deal with it (sarcastically). I wasn't offended (I'm not easily offended) but time after time were situations that would surely offend many but made me laugh. It's not overtly raunchy or overdone but is just really funny in a grim sort of way (if putting an aborted fetus back into it's headless mother's womb is not funny, this book does it somehow). This is one of my favorite aspects of the book.

We are introduced to two new characters, one of which doesn't say much but eventually cuts up some dogs and someone dressed as one.
The other is a black kid who's father is murdered and decides to get revenge.

All the while some aliens are destroying the town and abusing the people in it which includes experimenting. The aliens actually don't play too much of a role except to place an atmosphere for the kids to be in which is fine because I'd rather hear more of the kid's dialogue than the alien's.

In the end, the series is pretty much wrapped up leaving no room for sequels which is too bad because I really liked it but the ending is not without some sort of closure.

The artwork in this volume is much better than the first one and you can see the aging in the characters (which for better or for worst plays a small part in the script). But, unlike the second and first volumes, it's not as cluttered and hard to look at. This volume is by now skilled in it's character designs and believability.
Overall, I think that this book was well worth my time and would highly recommend it for a good laugh, whether or not you're new to the series.

Volume 3=Very Lack Luster compared tot he first 2

Honestly i hated this one. The first was good the 2nd was right up there and then there is this one. It seems like they try way to hard in this one to get laughs and be outlandish when in the other 2 it came naturally. And the story was actually extremely boring. Loved the first 2 hated this one its a shame the Manga ended on this POS hopefully Tokyo Pop brings it back so we can get that supposed christmas edition :)

NO CHEMISTRY

Marriane's parents have both died in a car crash. Her family home which has been in their family for generations is now under threat as her father had many debts. In steps Rafe a millionaire businessman who claims his father was an old friend of her father. But there's animosity between them as the history between their fathers was not good.

Rafe is the typical cliched M&B hero, rich, handsome, and his associations with women are purely physical. Marianne was feisty and didn't put up with any of Rafe's crap. This was okay but very formulaic, the biggest reason for my rating was I didn't feel the connection between this couple. I just didn't see how they could love on another there was no spark or chemistry that came across.

As a pastor I greatly appreciate this book from Josh Hunt. We pastors cannot be champions for the small groups within our church unless we too are active in small groups within our church. A few weeks from now my small group will divide so that we can multiply our outreach and influence within our church and community. We've more than doubled over the past year using the principles found in Doubling Groups 2.0. I'm excited to be a part of it! I love my small group!

Good read!

Pretty interesting stuff. Excellent read with a few solid tips and very direct information. Appreciate that the author does not beat around the bush in providing quality information.

Definitely looking forward to applying it at the church plant I am a part of and we will see how things follow. Appreciate his emphasis on leadership's role in church growth but also that it is more example-driven than solely the leader's responsibility to make a church grow.

Also, I appreciate the simplified approach to small groups which usually can be overcomplicated and convoluted and do not result in better community but instead cover a lot of information without ever having the proper time to go deep and put more pressure on the leader than need be.

Josh Hunt writes a clear, accessible manifesto to make your small group structure (whatever model you use) reproducible, make sure staff and senior pastor are involved, and take relational connections seriously. His exhortation to senior pastors to model involvement is itself worth reading the book.

LOVE IT!!!

I am IN LOVE with Let Dai!!! It is such a fantastic and compelling story. I new it would be from the second I saw the cover art for the first volume. If you are looking for a really awesome BL manga that will bring out all of your emotions, this is it. I also like this story because it isn't all porny and solely centered around the two main boys...there are some really awesome side stories and a very credible supporting cast.

Let Dai is the best manga I have ever read and Im including non-yaoi. It's amazing. Well written, complex, angst ridden, tender, violent. I intend to read the whole series. I read the first volume and I was hooked.

Compulsively Readable & Smart

Rhysmyth volume two follows Elena through her first Rhysmyth competition but also expands on the characters we've met in the first book, making all of them more realistic and likable. All of the characters are interesting and throughout the second volume there is enough mystery to make the reader what to know even more about each character. Like the elusive Carol and the mysterious Coach Shakes. But also about the main love interest and Rhysmyth extraordinaire Wahzee. Elena is hilarious and tons of fun, but also is kind which in my opinion makes her an exceptional main character. Which makes it all the frustrating that there isn't a third volume to answer all of the hanging questions and tensions that occur at the end of this volume.

I think that Rhysmyth blends romance, teen coming of age, humor and athletics seamlessly. Granted, I am new to the manga genre but I was pleasantly surprised at this book. What most impressed me about Rhysmyth was how all areas (humor, sports, etc.) are explained so that even if you aren't familiar with DDR, you can easily follow Rhysmyth. There is definitely no scrimping on the plot, which is a refreshing change from many of the young adult novels I've unfortunately read.

The fact that this is Anthony Andora's first manga is much more than impressive. Lincy Chan's depiction of the characters is perfect. I love how in the back of the book you can actually see how the each character progressed visually. I highly recommend this manga.

KIRKUS REVIEWS "Workers' compensation lawyer Garofalo recounts his life and law practice in Chicago. Born on the North Side of Chicago in 1952, Garofalo grew up in a small, one-bathroom house. His grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all lived on the same small lot in the house in back. After Garofalo's draft number didn't come up during the Vietnam War, he finished school, married his childhood sweetheart, and graduated in 1977 from DePaul University School of Law. Afterward, Garofalo survived a brief stint in real estate law until discovering during a foreclosure that he possessed what few in his profession seem to have: a heart and a soul. He quit his job and found a position as an associate at the Chicago law firm of Gifford, Detuno and Gifford, Ltd., where he represented employers in workers' compensation cases. It was a life changing association in which he found a common bond among the members of a local bar association dominated by Italian-Americans and a field in which he excelled. Recalling his early life, Garofalo remembers his parents' divorce two years after their marriage and how his grandfather became his surrogate father. ... In many ways he is an everyman --- struggling to find happiness and purpose in his work and meaning in his life, overcoming hurdles with a mixture of humor and perseverance. About the Author

Joseph A. Garofalo is a graduate of North Park College and DePaul University School of Law and a member of the American, Illinois State, and Chicago Bar Associations. He was admitted to practice law before the US District Court, Northern District of Illinois, including the Federal Trial Bar, and the US Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. After working as an associate for seven years, he left to cofound his own firm, which is now called Garofalo, Schreiber & Storm, Chartered.

Garofalo’s career focus is workers’ compensation and employers’ liability, and he has extensive litigation experience before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, the Circuit Court, the Appellate Court, and the Illinois Supreme Court. Additionally, he’s lectured on the topic before the Chicago Bar Association and a variety of business groups and insurance professionals.

Garofalo and his wife reside primarily in Park Ridge, Illinois, and part-time at Garofalo Family Vineyards in Healdsburg, California.

the trek is even more beautifully rendered as a metaphor

Joe Garofalo's autobiography takes the reader on a poignant and introspective journey. Through a series of vignettes, he conveys far more than the story of his life: from his humble roots in a struggling but loving family, to his academic achievements, to his primary profession as a trial lawyer and his avocation as a wine grower. As fascinating as that journey would be standing alone, the trek is even more beautifully rendered as a metaphor, gentle teaching the reader how to derive greater meaning from life. The tone of the book is replete with irony. The young man who did not feel called to the ministry ministers to us all by revealing what is most important to attaining true happiness: love of God and one's neighbor.

Joseph Garofalo's autobiography is a well written detailed account of the trial lawyer In Chicago,Il. Joe shows a side of a trial lawyer that most people cannot begin to understand. Joe, guides us through his successes and failures with great enthusiasm and energy. He takes us on journey from his humble roots to his rise to the top of the legal profession. Garofalo, shines a light on the day to day routine of all of us who are trial an exposes the good, bad, and the beautiful things about it. The average person's perception of what it means to be a lawyer will find that the glamour, power, success, and wealth are an illusion created by Hollywood and not real . Joe is the real deal. Joe puts on display the work ethic and integrity that have driven him to succeed in law, life and family. A TRIAL LAWYER'S JOURNEY should be required reading for everyone who wants to become a lawyer and those who are closely connected to a lawyer. Each will gain a valuable understanding what means to be a trial lawyer. Those of who have had the blessing knowing Joe owe a debt of gratitude , for setting the standard of what means to be a great trial lawyer.

Joe's experiences in the field of law have provided him a platform to examine his own life including the people and experiences that have helped shape him into the person he is today. The book provides a psychological profile of my dear friend, Joe Garofalo. By learning about his family, we learn about Joe. Indeed, we are all shaped by our experiences growing up. Joe is a man of the highest ethics who has had a profound effect on the many people he has interacted with for more than 30 years as an attorney. We are all thankful to Joe for sharing his life experiences and outlook on life with us. What our society needs today is more people like Joe.

Little boring

Laura has not only had to deal with the death of her fiancé Jordan, but also learning that he had been cheating on her. Being a kind hearted person, she keeps the news of him cheating to herself to spare his parents further pain. Three months after Jordan's death his twin brother Jed shows up to take care of the estate. Laura is intrigued by Jed not just because he looks like her ex, but because of the man he is. She starts spending time with him since she is an art dealer and agreed to do the inventory for Jordan's paintings. As time goes on, Laura finds herself becoming very attracted to Jed. He also is taken with Laura and hopes that someday she could see him for him and not see his twin brother when she looks at him.

Unfortunately this was one of the most boring books I've read. Laura is kind of a bland character. She goes to work and does her job and sometimes goes sailing. Jed has a little more depth to him since there is family drama and he feels like he is the black sheep of the family. He did not become a successful painter like his famous parents or like Jordan was trying to be. But he still doesn't stand out as a great male lead. The conversations Laura and Jed have are boring and nothing overly exciting happens throughout the story. They work on pricing the estate paintings and wonder if the other one might like them. That's about all that happens. There are a few surprises, but they are so far in between that they don't help to make the story good. There are a few kisses, but nothing overly hot or exciting there either.

I was glad when the book ended. It was a little too bland and boring for me.

An Outstanding Readig Experience

Laura Parkerson is a reputable art critic and gallery owner. Jordan Brodie, is a very charming and fun loving artist who courts Laura. She is swept off her feet and they become engaged. About two months later Laura finds Jordan in bed with another woman and she terminates the engagement, a fact that is kept secret from Jordan's family. The next day Jordan dies in an automobile accident. Jordan has an identical twin brother, Jed, who is building a bridge deep in the Amazon basin of Brazil. It takes nearly three months for Jed to learn of the tragedy and to discover he is the executor of his brother's estate.

Jed and Jordan's parents are both famous artists but very poor parents. Mother is a painter and father is a sculptor. At a very early age Jordan demonstrated much potential as a painter and is doted upon and spoiled. Jed received little love or encouragement. As adults Jed becomes very successful while Jordan wastes his life and talent while capitalizing on his charm and his mother's generosity.

Laura was very hurt by her fiancé's betrayal and is slow to allow involvement again. Jed is convinced Laura continues to pine for his deceased brother. The story line involves little twists and turns that keeps the reader engrossed and interested as Laura and Jed deal with their mutual attraction, mutual distrust, and familial difficulties.

Ms. McMahon does an outstanding job with this work. I like the way she kept her cast of characters relatively small, thus enabling each character greater than usual development. Ms. McMahon kept everything very believable and consistent throughout, with one exception. Had she done just a little bit of research she would have realized that the Amazon basin brackets the equator.

Near the equator the sun rises and sets at approximately the same time every day year round. Longer and shorter days are noticeable only at latitudes greater than about 20 degrees north or south. Consequently, the following two statements are factually incorrect: (1) "That's summer there [Amazon Basin] and we work long hours while daylight is plentiful." (2) "Winter in the Amazon is not much different from summer, except for shorter days." Well, we can't all be perfect all of the time.

It has a good story-line but it was slow reading. It didn't pick up until the middle of the story. Would like to have seen more excitment/drama.
